A wild broomstick ride through snow and darkness leads Marnie and Seb to Ireland, where they discover Seb’s family secrets. Returning to the Old World, Marnie finds strange weather, ghostly vortices and upheaval in the land. The turmoil spreads to Wandermere as another Imporium government falls and a new leader assumes power.
