Xavier Jones and his friends, Gabe and Ethan are captured and returned to St Griswold College to the clutches of Ms Ratchet and her strange staff. Xavier is no closer to knowing the fate of his family or close friend, Beth.

 

At every turn, gargoyles, demons and the Darklaw are ramping up their sinister activities. New characters and happenings force the teenagers on frightening paths to learn their destiny and discover new abilities.
